Rumman Ahmed is the technical director at Arq, where he leads the growth of the European activated carbon business with a focus on addressing emerging contaminants such as PFAS and micropollutants. His work supports advanced environmental solutions through innovative carbon technologies.

Rumman previously spent a decade at BASF in technical and leadership roles, developing next-generation coatings for automotive OEMs. He later managed technical and commercial programs in the carbon and chemical additives industry, contributing to decarbonization and waste-to-energy initiatives.
