Puragen

Puragen is a leading international supplier of circular filtration solutions based on activated carbon technology. The company supplies end-to-end solutions to customers in multiple industrial sectors, including water treatment, waste management, chemicals, and renewable energy. They have won global awards for their innovative environmental purification technologies, including their PFAS abatement and destruction process called "Search, Capture & Destroy," which is being presented at 09:30 on Day 1 of the conference.

Puragen's technology is based on using advanced lab techniques to identify specific PFAS species, followed by using unique surface-modified GAC for enhanced removal of PFAS from water. The final stage is advanced thermal reactivation, which recycles the GAC and destroys the PFAS. They can reactivate spent carbons from both drinking water and wastewater processes at their site in the United Kingdom. They also offer in-house engineering of mobile carbon filters and full technical and on-site support for customers.
